Intensiv!

I feel like I've been here forever, and it's hard to believe that reading back, this is only my third full day here.
Today was another jam packed day with my language class from 8:45-12:05. I got a snack from the Mensa, or cafeteria, and I went to put money on my Uni Freiburg card, and I handed the lady 20 Euros, but she but she gave it right back for some reason, so I have 20 Euros on the card, but I didn't pay for it. I felt kind of guilty but I was confused by the whole thing and there was no way I could have explained it to her in German, but karma quickly came back to bite me in the butt because my drink exploded everywhere shortly thereafter.
After a painfully long class with far too much grammar, I opened a German bank account so now I can pay my rent and stuff. I also put some minutes on my cell phone, which I find really comforting, and it just seems like all the little things like that are finally falling into place.
My life is now much happier after a trip to IKEA, where I bought a mirror, a new sheet with NO STAINS (my original sheet was a disaster, I pretended I was too tired to care the past few days), and some towels that were a lot cheaper than the only one I have. All I need now is some shampoo/conditioner, butter, and tissues and I think I'll be good to go!
This week has been extremely draining, I'm glad that the weekend is almost here!
